Microchip’s 8-bit PIC microcontrollers fall into three product architecture categories providing a variety of options for any application requirement. The specific families include: Baseline – PIC10F and some PIC12F and PIC16F; Mid-Range PIC12F and PIC16F; and High Performance – PIC18F. All device families have low power capability, flexible Flash program memory, and separate instruction and data buses to enable single cycle execution.
